The Russian Peace Song Video Project is a soft power effort to try to stop the invasion of Ukraine.
This Project, started in February 2023, advocates creation new peace lyrics in the Russian language to attach to existing Russian popular and folk melodies and old Soviet Union peace songs, to nudge Russians inside Russia and Russian troops inside Ukraine to stop the invasion. Poets, lyricists, jingle creators, and musicians, fluent in Russian, are encouraged to submit material.
